Message: Had a car loan with this bank. I didn't really have a bad experience with them cause i always made sure to pay my loan on time or within the 10 extra days they give you to pay. A couple of times they over charged me bc of the time my payments were made and some fees they waved and others i paid for. Their interest rates are really high! I paid off my vehicle 1 year before the maturity of my loan and according to the person i made the last payment with i saved almost 2k by doing so. So i really recommend to check your options before you end up here and pay 10, 000 on pure interest. P. S i would probably use this bank again if their rates are more compatible and reasonable. They always treated me nice and never had an issue with the employees.

Message: The team at American Bank went above and beyond to work with me on my Payroll Protection Program, jumping in to send me all the necessary paperwork, walk me through it, and get it approved and funded as quickly as possible. This is especially over-and-above service when I hadn't even worked with the bank in the past--most banks would only help clients and customers with PPP loans. Message: We are a woman owned small business called Pegasus Freight Services in Houston who tried to apply for the PPP (Payroll Protection Program) through our own bank, JP Morgan Chase. Their online application process kept giving us errors and we talked to Chase at least several times with no success and minimal assistance. I am very grateful to my group and John at American Bank for their support and help through these difficult times. These funds are allowing us, a true small business, to keep staff employed..
